This is the calendar for In-Person Sessions Only!
The calendar will appear once you click on the “Book Now” icon.
Important Session Details:
I do my Postural Restoration sessions at The Bodyshop/K2 Fitness at 17 Watchung Avenue in Chatham. It’s a small gym in which I rent a small private room in the back.
If coming from NYC, the gym is about 1.5 miles from both the Chatham and Summit train stations.
Payment can be made via cash, check, Venmo or Zelle at the time of the session . I do not take insurance.
Most people see me for help with idiopathic pain. In other words, pain of “unknown origin”. If it’s something I can help with, they will generally need between 3-6 sessions (depending on the issue), although not in consecutive weeks. They can be spaced out over months. Please don’t expect miracles in one session. While many people do feel a difference after one session, this is true neuro-muscular training, albeit in unique way, and there is progression involved.
My schedule is limited over the next few months due to various PRI projects I’m working on, including a presentation I’ll be giving at PRI next April about the role music in PRI programs, rehearsals (and the necessary travel) for my second theater production, and further documenting my own PRI journey.
Please don’t e-mail me asking for alternative times (I’m not trying to be a jerk). What is listed on the calendar is all that is available.
Parking
There is a parking lot with plenty of spaces. The gym is toward the front of the building, to the right of the parking lot.
Sneakers
This link is to the PRI Shoe List
It’s imperative that the sneakers you wear to the session match the criteria found on the shoe list. They don’t have to be on the list, but they have to match the criteria. Please watch this video to understand why.
Teeth/Jaw
Our jaw and teeth greatly influence our postural stability and movement because of the jaw’s muscular connections to our neck. Some people are given oral appliances like night guards that may prevent them from grinding, but could cause neck problems that then spread all the way down the spine to the pelvis. If you wear any oral appliances, please bring it to the session.
Glasses/Contacts
If you wear glasses or contacts (or both), please know your prescription and bring both the glasses/contacts and prescription to the session and don’t leave them in the car. Bring them inside.
If your glasses are progressive lenses, meaning they have “distance/intermediate/near” all in the same lens, I will not be able to help at all. I know it sounds crazy, but this is a known issue in the Postural Restoration world. These types of glasses cut out some peripheral vision.
Peripheral vision is what your brain uses to locate your body in space as you stand and move forward. This means our postural stability is influenced by what we are seeing, or not seeing. We need all our peripheral vision, not just some of it. You’ll need a single distance lens before we can do a session.

How I looked in my early and mid 30s with lateral pelvis tilts
Only the tinnitus and hernia remain, but the tinnitus is greatly reduced so that it no longer interferes with my life and the hernia doesn’t really bother me.
